Our focus of the World Congress next year is to celebrate 400 years of Devon production in this country. The Devon that arrived at the Plymouth colony were the start of our beef, dairy, and drover trades. We hope that you will join RDUSA, AMDA, and the U.S. cattle industry to celebrate this historic event. We are planning to start at the beautiful Edgewood Plantation in Monticello, Florida and work north up the east coast visiting Devon breeders, historic sites, and other agricultural points of interest. Our host farms are excited to share their beautiful homes and cattle with you; they have lined up exciting and innovative speakers and have several special attractions planned for guests. Meet Our Breeders
Edgewood Plantation (Stop #1)
Susan Simmons and staff look forward to hosting the first stop on the 2024 World Devon Congress. The cattle and farm are gorgeous and provide a great representation of Devon Cattle thriving in the Deep South.
Deep Grass Graziers (Stop #2)
Dan Glenn is a nationally renowned producer of grass finished beef. His operation grazes cattle year round on both cool and warm season annuals grown on irrigated pastures.
Walker Century Farms (Stop #3)
Long time producers Bill & Nancy Walker manage Walker Century Farm in Anderson, South Carolina. They have diverse genetics and a multifaceted operation. They work with experts at Clemson University and plan to have expert speakers discussing beef production on coastal grasses in South Carolina.
Lenoir's Creek (Stop #4)
Charlie & Martha Trantham manage and co-own the oldest Devon herd in the country. Lenoir's Creek is beautifully set in the mountains of western North Carolina and a great example of Devon thriving on rocky and harsh terrain.

Bob grew up on a beef farm and has enjoyed developing his own herd of over 120 Registered Devons plus commercial cattle, with total numbers approaching 250 head. We strive to produce some of the best Registered Devons available through our breeding plan which utilizes artificial insemination, embryo transplants, and natural service. We utilize superior genetics from several different countries striving for the best conformation plus performance. Our animals brought home numerous awards from the 2022 National Show; we welcome you to come and see them at work. Our cattle will be shown at a beautiful farm that we affectionately call "Cow Heaven" with rolling hills, trees, and Clover Creek.

Lakota Ranch
The Engh family
The Enghs are planning a herd tour of 2 of their 7 farms. They also will showcase premier animals of their own and from visiting Devon breeders. Lakota has been working with Jacob Guilley of American Farmland Trust and Allen Williams of the Soil Health Academy on a cover crop grazing program and are planning a field day in conjunction with the tour. Additional points of interest will be a stock dog demonstration, multi species grazing, a look at the farm store, and a meal featuring Devon beef.
Full Moon Farm
Paul Colluci welcomes visitors to upstate New York and the home of his Devon and Angus cattle herds. Visitors will be treated to beautiful cattle, scenery, and Devon beef prepared by the Culinary institute of the local university.
Plimoth Plantation (Last Stop)
The site of Devons arrival in The United States and the site of our 400 year celebration of the role of Devon Cattle played in the American Beef, dairy, and Drover industries.
